Lot Essay

King Paul of Greece (14 Dec 1901 - 6 Mar 1964) married Princess Frederica of Hanover in 1938, and reigned from 1947 until his death. These cufflinks were presented to an Italian ambassador and were a typical diplomatic gift of the period.
