TWO IMPORTANT CATALOGUES ISSUED BY DE BURE, BOTH PRICED in a contemporary hand. The Gouttard library included rich holdings in classical literature and bibliography; De Bure produced extensive notes for many of the more important lots. D’Aumont was one of the outstanding bibliophiles of his age, his collection being especially strong in literature and fine bindings; a number of his books are now in the Bibliothèque nationale.
