Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, with seven portraits depicting rulers, princesses and a European man, on black ground, within roundels, the lower-most oblong cartouche inhabited by a feline subduing a dragon, arranged vertically, the finial drawn as a wide spade, the reverse inscribed 'A K Coomaraswamy' in black roman script
