採用陰刻技法,正面刻明代蒙古貴族鍾金哈屯,別號三娘子之立像,刻款「三娘子圖,黃岩方絜」,印「方」及「絜」。背面刻「香鐙小炷懺前因,一念三生誤劫塵。莫聽琵琶思入塞,明妃曾是漢宮心。別移部帳事休屠,眾裏方驚出色殊。百八摩尼齊合掌,讓他一顆佛頭珠。詔恩三換等兒嬉,報貢頻頒五色絲。見說兩朝曽欵塞,不知通好見娥眉。香埋青冢積堪悲,初繪流傳又一時。想像承平光景好,風流邊將畫為支。不用紅裙擁翠幢,固姑獨立本無雙。入時梳裹人爭朝,腸斷江南聶碧窗。道光丙申秋仲。」印「方」、「絜」。方絜,字矩平,號治庵,浙江黃巖人,活躍於道光年間。善詩畫,尤工於雕刻寫真肖像。

Fang Jie, active in the Jiaqing/Daoguang period, was a competent poet and painter. His bamboo works are mostly his own original compositions, and he was well-known for his portraitures. The current wrist rest is executed with incised fine lines to depict the lady Sanniangzi (1550-1612), the wife of a Mongolian khan in the 17th century who was instrumental in signing a peace and trade treaty with the Ming court, and who was admired by the Han Chinese as well as her own people. Fang Jie's style is meticulous and delicate, reminiscent of the baimiao tradition of Chinese portrait paintings.
