Bottle no's 05679, 05680, 01532, 01535, 01531. Worn and dirty capsule, three slightly corroded. Bin-soiled, damp-affected labels, one damaged, damaged back labels. Levels: two 1cm, one 1.5cms, two 2cms below base of corks
Tasting note: Fairly deep and, after 13 years, still nowhere near full maturity; nose rich, fairly tangy and deep, quickly opens up; rich, creamy ‘chocolate cream’, harmonious and complete after an hour; on the palate distinctly sweet, powerful, opening up magnificently, after two hours lovely, mouthfilling, still tannic.
