SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The cavetto is formed by four bracket-lobes encircling the slightly sunken lobed centre. The exterior is of conforming shape raised on a short foot ring and covered overall with an attractive brownish-black lacquer.

Kawasaki Shozo was the founder of Kawasaki Heavy Industries. He dedicated his time to art collecting during his retirement with a particular focus on Chinese art, and established a personal studio called Ch.shunkaku.
