A YELLOW AND GREEN-ENAMELLED PEAR-SHAPED 'DRAGON' VASE, YUHUCHUNPING
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The vase is incised and enamelled in green with two sinuous five-clawed dragons wrapped around the body and neck, surrounded by flames and scrolling clouds, all reserved on a yellow ground. The base is incised with an apocryphal Zhengde mark.
