QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The exterior of each bowl and cover is similarly decorated with bats flying amdist various floral blooms growing from scrolling foliage, all reserved on a yellow ground. The interior of the bowls are painted to the centre with two peaches beside lingzhi and a bat, encircled by five further bats amongst clouds. The bases are each decorated with a stylised archaistic kui dragon.
4 3/4 in. (12.1 cm.) diam.
