A TIANHUANG SEAL AND FOUR SOAPSTONE SEALS
REPUBLIC PERIOD
Comprised of tall tianhuang seal with a plain seal face, the material of a pale russet tone with lighter inclusions; a furong soapstone seal with a mythical beast finial and plain seal face; a soapstone seal carved in low relief on one side with a scholar underneath a tree, the stone suffused with orange-red inclusions; a semi-translucent soapstone seal carved with cloud scrolls; and a soapstone seal surmouted by a mythical beast finial, the stone of opaque pale russet tones.
