The signature Mansheng on the seal refers to Chen Mansheng (1768-1822), a renowned seal carver and designer of Yixing teapots. The inscription on the seal face, Yeyun, is the style name of Zhu Henian (1760-1834), an accomplished painter active from the Qianlong to Daoguang period.
