Made for the Tiro Federal Argentino, Buenos Aires for the 7th World Shooting Championship held in Buenos Aires in 1903, the cigarette case depicting a Classical girl holding a rifle and contemplating the holes in a target, smoke swirling around her and the TFA building in the background, the bottom right corner with badge of TFA and a leaf spray above Concurso Interncional 1903, gilt interior, the vesta case depicting TFA badge, a rifle, the TFA building and swirling Art Nouveau flowers, the pencil similarly decorated

The Tiro Federal Argentino was a Buenos Aires-based institution for the sport of shooting, founded in 1891. The 7th World Shooting Championship, an annual event, was held in Buenos Aires in 1903 for the world's National Shooting Federations and Associations.
