The obverse with a cock in profile to the left, standing on a dotted groundline, the feathers, crown and wattle in added yellow, with two rosettes in the field, framed on either side by spiraling tendrils, a band of dotted egg-pattern above; the reverse with two sprays of ivy descending at an angle from either side; the lug handles molded in the form of lion heads
