Each rectangular red lacquered panel is inlaid in bone, hardstone and wood with an Immortal. One panel depicts Shoulao and his deer each holding a peach and standing next to a pine tree, the other one depicts He Xiangu holding a ewer and her phoenix grasping a branch of lingzhi fungus beside a fruiting peach tree. The reverse of the panels is gilt with the one hundred shou characters.
