The vase-shaped case above a fountain flanked by two winged cherubs, the case with various foundry marks 'VZ', with white-enamelled hour and minute rings, the movement with shaped rectangular plates, twin barrels and Brocot regulation, outside countwheel to strike on bell, the backplate stamped '137'
