The rectangular top with three quarter moulded edge, lined with a gilt-tooled black leather writing surface, and a green baize playing surface to the reverse, enclosing an ivory, ebony, and green-stained horn compartment, the frieze fitted two drawers, on fluted tapering legs, stamped M. CARLIN and JME, with fifteen green stained horn counters, fifteen ivory counters and two later candlesticks, restorations
