Lot Essay

This unusual and incredibly elegant architectural games or centre table is clearly inspired by the delicate designs of Weissweiler's steel-supported tables, while the use of the 'grand tour' specimen marble top within a mahogany and gilt-bronze frame might identify the table as a clever re-interpretation of the English Regency style.
