BORDONE, Benedetto (1460-1531). [World, untitled.] Venice, 1528.
Woodcut world map in oval projection, image 213 x 378 mm (291 x 426 mm sheet). (Strengthened along fold on verso.)
Rare first edition with the errata (“Errori”) printed on the verso. The map first appeared in the Libro di Benedetto Bordone… de tutte l’Isole del mondo… Venice, 1528. Shirley 59; See The World Encompassed 83.
