Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 2008 and its subsequent sale on September 10th of the same year, and a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated September 13th, 2008. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe leather envelope, product literature, Patek Philippe presentation box, and outer packaging.

Launched in 1998, the platinum version of the reference 5070 such as the present watch was launched in 2008. At 42mm diameter this is one of the largest watches ever produced by Patek Philippe.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.
