MARK OF THREE STARS IN A RECTANGLE, AND ALSO BEARING LATER DUTCH CONTROL MARKS
The handle decorated on either side with a neo-classical urn between leafy swags; also a group of five Dutch toys comprising:- one 18th century example, by Jan Borduur, Amsterdam, 1749, modelled as a man holding a bird on a perch, four others late19th/early 20th century, comprising a man with a muzzled bear, a pair of lovers skating and two soldiers in 17th century costume; also a modern Italian silver toy of a jockey jumping a fence
