MARK OF WOLF CHRISTOPH RITTER, NUREMBERG, CIRCA 1630, THE FINIAL AND FOLIAGE WITH MARK OF THE RAUCHWOLFF FAMILY, CIRCA 1630
On lobed domed foot, the stem formed as a tree entwined with a vine and applied with a woodsman with axe, the lobed body and cover with detachable vase of flowers finial, marked near rim, finial and detachable foliage

Descriptif du lot

A letter dated 26th November 1929 states that this cup and cover was examined by the Director of the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, Munich, and found it to be an authentic example by Christoph Ritter I of Nuremburg.
