An unsigned version of similar size is in the collection of the Earl of Pembroke (Sidney, 16th Earl of Pembroke, A Catalogue of the Paintings & Drawings in the Collection at Wilton House, London and New York, 1968, p. 44, no. 113, pl. 66). That painting may be the 'picture of the Kings Neece in Shipheards habbitt done by Hunthorst' listed by Abraham van der Doort in the collection of King Charles I at Whitehall (see The Walpole Society, XXXVII, 1960, p. 176, no. 23).
