A SWISS GOLD MEDALLION AND A SWISS PARCEL-GILT SILVER SCHRABDOSE

the medallion depicting Mars standing upon military trophies on one side and Charity enthroned with putti attendants, each below inscription, signed on the obverse with initials HIB and on reverse with initials IB
The schrabdose circular, the cover engraved with a scene of two doves pulling Aphrodite's chariot with eternal flame, below an inscription, the base engraved with a cypher 'JLW' below a coronet and with two winged putti clasping hearts, the interior engraved with an inscription
the medallion 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.) diam.
the schrabdose 2 1/4 in. (55 mm.) diam.
the medallion 15 dwt. (24 gr.)
the schrabdose 1 oz. 10 dwt. (47 gr.)
The inscriptions on the medallion read:
'DER FRID ERNEHRT * VN FRID VERZEHRT' and 'FRID VND LIEB STETS BY VNS BLEIB'
