The 11 inch square brass dial with mask head spandrels and engraved border, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic outer minutes, sword-hilt half-hour markers, signed 'Sam. Marchant, London', the matted centre with date aperture, subsidiary seconds dial, ringed winding holes and pierced steel hands, the eight day two-train movement with four pillars, recoil anchor escapement and count wheel strike to bell; with pendulum, two brass cased weights and case key
