With mahogany and chequered banding, columns to the hood, the painted dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and date to centre, the arch with moonphase and maritime scene, signed T: Gilbert/RUGELY, the associated two train eight day movement with recoil anchor escapement and rack striking to bell; with pendulum, two weights, case key and later winding key
