A Napoleon III gilt-bronze and champêvé enamel mantel clock
the break arch case inlaid overall with foliate designs, with cupola and spire surmount, with elongated knop and baluster finials to the angles and a seated cherub to the front, with outset baluster columns, those to the front with figures of cherubs, on inverted break front and moulded base with bun feet, the Roman dial with steel hands (one broken), the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 24½in.(62cm.) high
