Please note that the fragment with the historiated initial ‘U’ with the Assumption of the Virgin is Italian, circa.1300. The fragment with the saint with the lily, possibly St. Catherine of Siena, also is Italian. The fragment with the historiated initial ‘O’ depicting a lady with a knight is late19th/early 20th century, by a French artist known as the Spanish Forger.
