A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE CIRCULAR OPENWORK 'DRAGON' PLAQUE
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The circular plaque is well carved in layered openwork with a central front-facing dragon, surrounded by four side-facing dragons, all against a background of lotus meander, and within a 'bead' border that is concave on the reverse. The stone is of a pale greenish-white tone.
