LUCKNOW, PROVINCIAL MUGHAL INDIA, LATE 18TH CENTURY
Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, ladies bathe in a water pool whilst others rest on the side, one smokes a huqqa, their palanquins at the back amidst a dense forest, laid down on pink card with gold foliage and blue borders with gold meander
