The basin with squat globular body rising from a short straight foot to a wide gently sloping rim, the inlaid decoration consisting of a repeating simplified flower head laid in quincunx between two bands of stylised palmettes, the sieve lacking; the vase, on short splaying foot, with globular body rising to a straight rim and domed lid with bulbous finial, the silver and brass inlaid latticed decoration composed of repeating floral sprays within lobed medallions
The basin 8 ¾in. (22.2cm.) diam.; the vase 4 ¾in. (12cm.) high
