Of typical form with rounded ends and sliding tray, the polychrome painted decoration consisting of portraits of young Qajar ladies in European dress and exotic birds in smaller medallions interspersed with a larger central cartouche with horses in meadows, the base and sliding tray with intricate scrolling floral garland on red ground
