Volume II of this seminal work on hadith, Arabic manuscript on paper, 162ff. plus one fly-leaf, each folio with 15ll. of bold black naskh script, titles and important words in red, with red verse markers, opening folio with title shamsa in gold and polychrome, opening bifolio with text within gold and black rules, with catchwords, small number of folios a later replacement, with marginal notes, final bifolio with later samma'a notes, the colophon indicates that the scribe was mu'azzin in the Mosque of the Umayyads (in Damascus), in 15th century Mamluk tooled brown morocco with silhouette doublures
