A DEHUA CYLINDRICAL TRIPOD CENSER

The censer is raised on three ruyi-form feet and molded in low relief with four shallow bands around the exterior. The central register is incised with key fret alternating with archaistic motifs. The censer is covered with a glaze of creamy color that continues over the rim but does not cover the lower part of the interior. The interior is painted with a fo character.
5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) diam.
