A LARGE 'EEL-SKIN'-GLAZED VASE
19TH CENTURY
The foot, body and broad neck are covered with a matte glaze of speckled yellowish-olive-green color between black-glazed, biscuit bands of waves above the foot, ruyi heads on the shoulder and diaper pattern at the flared rim. The similarly glazed, openwork handles are in the form of stems of lingzhi, and the rim and interior are glazed white. The base is unglazed.
