KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The body of the ewer is divided into three sections by molded bow-string borders and decorated in yellow, green and aubergine with horses, auspicious emblems and prunus flowers against swirling waves. The shaped top section is decorated with a crane in flight.
