A PAINTED GREY POTTERY KNEELING COURT FIGURE
HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-AD 220)
The hollow-molded figure is shown kneeling, and wears heavy layered robes. The separately made head is modeled with small features detailed in black, and there are two small slits in the front of the hair for the attachment of ornaments. There are traces of white, orange-red, dark reddish-brown, black and pale blue pigments.
