A JUNYAO PURPLE-SPLASHED BOWL
JIN-YUAN DYNASTY, 13TH-14TH CENTURY
The bowl has deep, slightly rounded sides and is covered overall with a finely mottled, milky blue glaze that thins to dark mushroom on the rim and has two bluish-purple splashes on the interior and a smaller one on the exterior.
7 7/8 in. (20 cm.) diam.
