The standing figure is carved holding a milk bucket in one hand, and a deer skin slung over his back. The stone is of an even pale tone with dark russet inclusions to the reverse.

Yanzi, an exemplar of filial piety, is shown holding a milk bucket and clothed in a deer skin, which he wore in order to conceal himself while he mingled with the herd in order to obtain doe's milk for the treatment of his parents' eye disease.
