A HUANGHUALI THREE-TIER PICNIC BOX AND COVER, TIHE
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The three removable trays are set into the base stretcher frame which is fitted with upright struts flanked by openwork spandrels at the sides. The struts are joined on top by a humpback handle and the edges are fitted with huangtong hardware, those at the top of ruyi-head form.
9 ¼ in. (23.5 cm.) high, 13 ½ in. (34.3 cm.) wide, 7 1/8 in. (18.1 cm.) deep
