2° (380 x 250 mm). Engraved dedication, 200 plates (plates 147 and 148 are misnumbered CXLVI and CXLVII respectively), all after Chippendale. (Some light browning and spotting, some plates shaved close touching plate numbers and imprints, a few plate numbers wanting.) Contemporary reversed blind-stamped calf (rebacked, some light wear to extremities).
Third and best edition, the last to be published during Chippendale’s lifetime. He revised and updated a number of the plates and added new material to increase the total number of plates to 200.
