First edition of the first publication of furniture design after Chippendale’s third edition of his Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker’s Director. Following George Heppelwhite’s death in 1786, his wife Alice continued the business, and issued this work featuring about 300 of his designs. Brunet III, 105.
