Of circular shape, with five black lacquered containers inside and an elegantly refined red and gold pineapple lacquered cover with two elegant red agate rock handles on top. Poem adapted from ‘Preface To The Poems Collected from the Orchid Pavilion’ on the inside of the cover reading ‘when facing the water, people are always in peace and happy; when facing the wind, we can allow ourselves to travel far and near’; Shang Xia mark, crafted by Shang Xia, Gan Erke and dated yi wei nian in red lacquer on the base.
