A PAIR OF CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE VERTE FISHBOWLS, ON STANDS
SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY
Each decorated to the exterior with a continuous scene of birds in a landscape, the interior painted with goldfish amid seaweed and water plants, on wooden tripod stands with scrolling legs joined by stretchers with shell motifs and terminating in paw feet
The bowls: 17 in. (43 cm.) high; 18 ½ in. (47 cm.) diameter
The stands: 15 ½ in. (39.5 cm.) high; 25 in. (63.5 cm.) wide; 25 in. (63.5 cm.) deep
