A WHITE JADE 'HEAVENLY STEMS AND EARTHLY BRANCHES' PLAQUE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The plaque is carved and pierced to the centre of one side with a dancing boy surrounded by ten characters representing the ten heavenly stems. The other side of the boy is decorated with twelve characters representing the earthly branches. The stone is of an even white tone with some minor russet inclusions.
