A JADEITE FIGURE OF A MEIREN
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The female figure is carved standing wearing long flowing robes, her hair uspwept in a top-knot and ornamented with flowers. She is shown holding a double-gourd before her in her left hand and her right hand with a flower blossom. The stone is of a pale mottled tone with some russet inclusions.
