QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The central barbed-rim dish is carved in relief with a Shou character surrounded by five bats in flight, encircled by eight lotus petal-shaped trays, each carved with one of the Bajixiang, 'Eight Buddhist Emblems', and the rims with keyfrets. The stones are of semi-translucent even pale celadon tone.
