TWO WHITE JADE 'HORSE' PENDANTS
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
One is modelled as a horse standing four-square in a flowing stream with its head lowered drinking. The second is naturalistically carved as a horse lying on its back with its head turned backward touching its right hind hoof, with a circular aperture pierced vertically through the body for suspension.
