GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908)
The blue kesi ground is woven in shades of blue, green, purple and ochre with five-clawed dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst ruyi-form clouds interspersed with bats suspending peaches and various auspicious emblems with details in black pigment, all above the terrestrial diagram and lishui stripe at the hem, with a similar pattern repeated on the collar, lapel and cuffs.
