A late Victorian swing-handled carriage timepiece
of typical form, on bun feet, die-stamped with cherub's heads amidst clouds and with scrolling foliage, the white-enamelled dial with black Arabic numerals, Henry Marston, Birmingham probably 1897 - 3½in. (9cm.) overall; and a Dutch white-metal cylindrical salt cellar pierced with scrolling flowers and foliage and with blue glass liner and caryatid double scroll handle, 1918. (2)
