Christian Lacroix,  the indisputable enfant terrible of 1990s couture, whose gowns are the very antithesis of ‘less is more’, never ceased to be a son of Arles, his home territory.  Here his re-invention of an Arlesian traditional apron is a couture nod to his origins, and one which adds a final, characteristically light-hearted touch to this evening ensemble.
