MID-19TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY FRENCH
Comprising an accurately modelled articulated full armour with lance, the hinged close helmet enclosing a carved and pierced ivory head, seated on a painted carved wooden horse with embroidered trapper beneath full body and head armour, the principle edges of the armour turned and roped throughout, on wooden base
